During the second quarter of 2009 Grant Thornton introduced a new office design based on the Workplace Strategy developed by Gensler for Website Based Standards.  Shiner Acoustics, LLC assisted Grant Thornton and Gensler in the development of acoustic design criteria for new office design interior partitions (fixed, demountable and operable), systems furniture, finish surfaces, mechanical systems and electronic background masking systems.  Alternatives were evaluated and recommended systems were identified.  Our services included evaluation of base building acoustical parameters and continued through project close-out and post-occupancy evaluation for each site.  Shiner Acoustics, LLC has assisted and continues to work with the project team in the implementation of the new office design at locations throughout the United States.
