The Blue Chip Hotel in Michigan City, Indiana is a 22-story hotel tower with 302 guest rooms and 20,000 sf of meeting space. The tower is part of a $130 million expansion project that added two restaurants, an event center and a luxury spa to the casino.
Acoustical design services included schematic design through construction administration and addressed guest room, spa and meeting room sound isolation, control of mechanical, electrical and plumbing system noise and vibration, mechanical system exterior noise control and sound isolation and room acoustics of the lobby, meeting rooms, main ballroom and concert venue.
