Phase 1 consisted of a 33 story, 1,430,000 SF 33 office tower occupied by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.  The facility includes open plan and private offices, a 900 seat cafeteria, a 31,000 SF conference and training facility and support space.  The structure also included a central district cooling plant with cooling towers on the top levelof the structure and chillers on a sub-basement level.  Shiner Acoustics, LLC provided complete acoustic design services from schematic design through construction administration and project close out for the shell and core as well as build-out of the project.

Phase 2 was the vertical expansion of the structure with the addition of 920,000 SF on 24 floors and included the relocation of the utility cooling towers to the new roof level.  The expansion consisted primarily of open plan and enclosed offices and included a 394 seat satellite cafeteria, 15,000 SF basement level fitness center and tenant office space.  Shiner Acoustics, LLC provided complete acoustic consulting services throughout the project including monitoring and evaluation of construction noise and vibration.
