Ohio State Medical Center James Cancer and Critical Care Tower

Thirteen story, 980,175 s.f. facility consisting of seven patient floors and one ambulatory clinic floor stacked and organized into two wings of a tower located above a four story diagnostic and treatment podium. A multi-story pedestrian concourse will extend the full length of the building on the south side from west to east.
Shiner Acoustics, LLC provided complete acoustic design services from design development through post construction activities for core and shell issues including control of medical helicopter noise transmission to patient rooms as well as imaging equipment vibration control. Interior build out design included emphasis on control of noise transmission to patient rooms.
