Ten story structure of approximately 385,000 sq. ft. The basement level consists of mechanical, storage and shell space. The above grade floors include patient room floors consisting of PICU, MICU/CICU, oncology, neuro-stroke, general medical and a penthouse mother/baby unit as well as support and mechanical space.
Acoustic design services included schematic design through construction administration and concentrated on patient room to patient room and patient room to corridor privacy. Achievement of appropriate acoustical environments in patient rooms, team stations and conference facilities including control of reverberation and sound reflection and mechanical system noise and vibration were also addressed.
